Karen LaFleur
Karen LaFleur is a digital artist, writer and animator. Her artwork explores the synergy between interior and exterior worlds with a focus on adaptability. She blends surface beauty with a depth of introspection that reveals the complexity of world structures and highlights the resiliency of “individual voice” to survive within these shifting landscapes.
She began her artistic career as a fine artist, storyteller and observer of human nature. Later she turned to the computer to channel these common interests into an all-inclusive medium.
Her artworks exhibit nationally including the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institute, Washington, DC, The Fuller Craft Museum, MA, The Cape Museum of Fine Arts, MA, Union Square San Francisco, CA, and can be found in private and public collections worldwide.
